12 Interesting & Fun Facts about Jordan Hart...

​

1) He was the last drummer to perform at the 'Iconic' Manchester live music venue 'Band On The Wall' before their major refurbishment & renovation restoration work began in the fall of December 2006...

​

2) He has two personalized hand written letters from his musical hero - 8x Grammy Music Award winner Mr. Phil Collins, and one from Swing Music Legend Mr. Tony Bennett expressing that his singing voice showed a lot of potential, and talent from a very early age...

​

3) The first person to hold Jordan after he was born outside of his direct immediate family members was none other than actress, singer, model, and former girlfriend, and partner to Rock Music legend Sir Rod Stewart, Ms. Britt Eckland inside the terminal at LAX International Airport in Los Angeles when he was just 2 months old...

​

4) He was chosen as one of only two musicians from the United Kingdom to audition for Phil & Orianne Collins' Little Dreams Foundation at the tender age of only 17, alongside multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter Joni Fuller, but as the cut off age was up to the age of 16, the foundation liked what they heard of Jordan's singing abilities, and heard a lot of talent, and potential from a 'Demo Tape' that Jordan had sent over to Geneva, Switzerland, that they decided to send for him anyway, albeit that he was 12 months to old to audition. All expenses paid for by the foundation itself...

5) At the age of 16 he got down to the final 300 people out of 100,000 auditionees nationally up and down the country to audition again for Simon Fuller & Simon Cowell's hit TV Talent Competition Show at the time, ITV's Pop Idol... with ex-Spice Girl Pop Group member Geri Halliwell, and 80's/90's 'Pop Factory' record producer Pete Waterman as judges, telling the young Jordan who was studying for his G.C.S.E's at the time, that he was a better singer than most of the 20/30 somethings that had been through the door, and in to audition that particular day. Geri Halliwell, and also panel judge, and former Sony Records 'A&R record company executive' at the time Nikki Chapman told him to concentrate on his end of year high school exams, and to return the following year if he so pleased, and wished, or for whenever he felt ready to do so again in the near future, but Jordan didn't feel that he wanted to go down that route again by getting his foot through the music industry door at that particular time. Although it was a great, and fantastic experience for him at the time, as he was especially needing experiences, and some sort of guidance like that all the time in his early career, and formative years, he did not deem it necessary that, that was the show that was going to break him...

​

6) He was once the warm up, support, and opening act for a non record company signed indie rock band called 'Elbow' who would go on to sell over 20 million records worldwide at a benefit/charity concert one evening in his spiritual home town of Bury, Lancashire in aid of helping, and raising money to stop his beloved Bury Football Club from going into liquidation at the time, due to a financial crisis at the club...

7) At 19 he had a chance meeting with his musical hero, 2x Golden Globe, 8x Grammy Music Award winner, Oscar winner, and Rock Musical Legend Mr. Phil Collins in the lobby area of the Four Seasons Hotel in Prague telling him to keep up the good work, and to carry on doing what he was doing musically, and to keep on sending him his CD's in the future, which gave Jordan all the confidence, ambition, and drive that he needed to pursue his dreams of one day becoming a professional recording artist...

 

8) He was the drummer on 2 albums produced at The North Trafford College Of Music for 2 local 'College Rock Bands' called Long Shore Drift & The Sound Marshalls - The Long Shore Drift album was titled ' A Room With An Ocean View' & The Sound Marshalls album was titled 'Audio Tapestry' that are now hidden somewhere in the Rock 'n' Roll archives in the sounds of the city...

9) He won the 'Manchester Evening News Search For A Star' talent competition in the city of Salford at the tender age of 15 that Take That front man & songwriter Mr. Gary Barlow won back in the mid to late 1980's...

​

10) When he was 19 he formed a co-writing partnership group called Atlantic Front alongside his long time best friend, keyboard, and guitarist Mr. Howard Susman of whom they would go on to write many songs together, and form a publishing company together called Complete Creative (Music) Publishing Limited for their future collaborative work together...

​

11) He is also the Managing Director of 4 music based companies, and the Co-Owner of 2 other music based business companies...
